Care
The cradle can be washed by hand at 40 degrees.
The kapok mattress is not machine washable - air it outdoors about once a month.

Hammocks are not suitable for children who can sit, kneel or pull themselves up.

Most children love to be rocked. Newborns, in particular, find it easy to settle in a cradle. Wrapped in soft fabric, they hear the familiar sounds of their surroundings and feel secure. The rocking motion reminds the child of the time in their mother's womb. This makes it especially easy for little ones to fall asleep.

My own son preferred to fall asleep rocking—regardless of his bedtime, I alternated between bouncing on a yoga ball and rocking him in my arms. This caused my entire body to bounce up and down. This caused me back and lower back pain. Worst of all, I became quite frustrated. Frustrated that he wouldn't sleep. When someone recommended a hammock swing, I finally saw a potential solution to my problem. And what happened next? My son naturally fell asleep as soon as he was in the crib.

For these reasons, I decided to develop a cradle. One that would also relieve pressure on my body while rocking my children. I put a lot of research and effort into creating an ergonomic and safe cradle that also supports the development of the child's spine. That's why I'm especially proud that even midwives recommend the Moonboon cradle. It was developed for both newborns and children up to 15 kg.

Looking back, I became a better mother when I got a hammock for my son. It gave me the breaks I desperately needed, and I could sleep when he slept. My energy returned, and soon I had enough drive to be the mother I wanted to be. I hope our hammock can give you the same.
